Tapping Course and Tips: Dive Deep and release subconscious blocks with Tapping Experts.

Jim Montrose, February 2020

Have you been tapping to release negative emotions, to build new habits and beliefs, to replace outdated beliefs from the subconscious? Using tapping between your sessions at the clinic can help you stay on track; create the new habits, lifestyle and health you want. Tapping is your tool to take control and tailor the life you want. It helps you take the NET work you do here at the clinic and take it to the next level.

I have been expanding my understanding and use of tapping recently and have been reading Nick Ortner’s book “The Tapping Solution” which is really helpful. I have found two processes that are very helpful and am also using an NET question sequence (the eye of the dragon) that has taken my tapping to new heights. In addition, tomorrow Feb 24th Nick starts his 12th annual tapping summit with free talks and lectures on tapping from top experts around the world (read down for a link to join for free). These tools have allowed me to go deeper, pull out the root causes of stuck and negative emotions triggered in my life and you can do it anywhere by yourself.

Tapping Tree

The tapping tree is a great way to explore the layers around current symptoms, responses and emotions you are exploring or experiencing. It was developed by Lindsay Kenny and a nice form illustrating this process is available at http://efttappingtechniques.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Tapping-Tree-Handout1.pdf. We first develop a list of the leaves (symptoms, events or situations occurring in present time), then drill down to the branches (the emotions we experience with it in these events and situations), next we go to the trunk of the tree (similar events from the past and childhood with similar feelings) and then end up with the roots (the core limiting beliefs we have about these topics). You then systematically tap out the charge on each of these leaves, branches, trunks and roots. As you tap another related event, emotion, situation may occur to you, write it down and tap it out to free yourself.

I Should Process

Another great way to expand your view of an event, emotion or situation is to ask yourself the question “I should _____” and see what comes up. Continue asking until you have exhausted the unique responses to this question. Then tap each one of them out.

Eye of the Dragon

To find additional charges for tapping prompt yourself with these questions and see if any ideas with negative feelings or emotions come up and then tap them out:

I am OK with _____________

I am OK understanding his/her actions regarding ___________

I can forgive ________________

I am OK with my retaliations to _____________________

I am OK feeling resentment with ____________

I am OK not having retaliated with _____________

I am OK having caused any part of it ______________

I am OK with my part of it _____________

It’s good for me to forgive them ______________ it’s good for me to forgive myself.

It’s good for others if I forgive the person(s) who hurt me.

I am OK seeing them again _______________

I am OK not understanding their actions/reactions ____________

I am OK with their choice doing what they did _______________

From the N2 (Cape Town towards George) Take the first Swellendam exit (left). This is the R60. Proceed (1km+) through the 4 way stop and continue approximately 2-3 km and look for a sign for the Hermitage. Make a hard right (270 degrees). After the turn continue about 200 meters and turn left at first road (dirt). Proceed 300 meters and turn left into Red Roan Ranch and go to bottom of hill (the main house).
