Hello Dear Friends,
Our website was down at the end of last week so our 21 day program didn’t go out. It has resumed and they are coming out now a few days late. Continue with your practices and enjoy.
Some Ancient Wisdom for handling the times and creating a strong immune system:
Ayurveda has four fasting practices that help everyone, they are:
Food: Fasting from food, eat only when the fire (gut) calls for it, not when the tongue or mind desires or thinks you should eat. Eat only when the breath is strong through the right nostril (close left for a minute or two breathing through right to change the breath to right nostril).
Breathing: Fast in your breath as well by slowing it down and emphsizing the pauses. Deliberately slow the inhalation of breath and create a longer slow out-breath with pauses.
Words: Thoughtfully and consciously speak only words that are true and pleasing to self and others.
Mind and consciousness: Sitting still listening to breath, being in nature, or silently repeating the names of the Divine calms the mind and reduces restlessness.
