Techniques

A Brief overview of some of the Chiropractic Techniques that Dr. Rivene Uses.

Chiropractic Philosophy

Is the integration of scientific and medical principals with the body’s innate intelligence (or subtle forces) of life energy. The body and all living things have the power to self-destruct as well as to heal themselves. The basic philosophy of chiropractic is that every living thing has innate intelligence that determines its living organic state. The interruption of that natural innate force due to physical, biochemical, environmental and emotional traumas causes interferences to occur that impair one’s health. A chiropractor facilitates the patient’s natural healing through proper structural adjustments, biochemical and environmental realignment and emotional release, allowing the body to naturally restore its own healing capacities through the free flow of life force to all parts of the body..

N.O.T. Neural Organization Technique

Neural Organization Technique (N.O.T.) is a holistic physical and energetic medicine modality, based in Applied Kinesiology, which deals with our basic survival systems of fight/flight, feeding/immune and reproduction. Our health depends on how well these systems are maintained and their ability to receive process and respond to sensory information in a constantly changing environment of both internal and external stressors. Treatment utilizes a sensory receptor-based therapy involving primarily skin surface reflexes designed to normalize nervous system function.

Neural Organization Technique holds as its premise that everything that happens to us on a physical, chemical, or emotional level must be processed through one or more of the three basic survival systems. When we suffer pain, fatigue, a headache etc., our body utilizes its innate knowledge to compensate for this altered internal environment allowing us to maintain optimal survivability. Neural Organization Technique not only works on re-modulating the sensory input to our central nervous system, it recalibrates the sensory receptor itself so that it will feed back the correct information. Our goal is to identify these compensatory states and remove the ones that are no longer needed.

BEST (Bio-Energetics Synchronization Technique)

BEST allows one to find reflexes that have been disconnected from the brain through trauma. These mis-aligned reflexes can affect organs, muscles and other body functions. The technique allows the doctor to facilitate the reconnection of the reflex to the brain by simple manipulation of reflexes and meridians so that the body function is restored to operate correctly.

AK (Applied Kinesiology)

Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a form of diagnosis using muscle testing as a primary feedback mechanism to examine how a person’s body is functioning. When properly applied, the outcome of an AK diagnosis will determine the best form of therapy for the patient. Since AK draws together the core elements of many complementary therapies, it provides an interdisciplinary approach to health care.

Q & A

What is Applied Kinesiology?
Some 5000 years ago, the Chinese mapped out the flow of Qi (Ki or Chi) Life Force Energy through meridian avenues composed of reflexes and circuits in the human body.  This Science is the basis for Applied Kinesiology, Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Homeopathic and Eastern Medicine. In general, the applied kinesiologist finds a muscle that presents a lock, and then determines why that muscle is not functioning properly.  The practitioner will then evaluate and apply the therapy that will best eliminate the muscle weakness and help the patient. Therapies utilized can include specific joint manipulation or mobilization, various myofascial therapies, cranial techniques, meridian therapy, clinical nutrition, dietary management, various reflex and circuit procedures, and emotional components. The examiner may test for environmental or food sensitivities by using a previously locked muscle sign to find what unlocks it.Applied Kinesiology uses the triad of health — Chemical, Mental and Structural factors to describe the proper balance of the major health categories.  When a person experiences poor health, it is due to an imbalance in one or more of these three factors.  All sides must be evaluated for the underlying cause of a problem.  A health problem on one side of the triad can affect the other sides.  For example, a chemical imbalance may cause mental symptoms.  Applied Kinesiology enables the practitioner to evaluate the triad’s balance and direct therapy toward the imbalanced side or sides.

NET (Neuro-emotional technique)

NET is a chiropractic technique to release/remove emotional charges that become locked in the physical body as a result of a traumatic event. NET is essentially a method to find and unravel these emotional charges by identifying the traumatic event that causes a physical, biochemical or environmental imbalance in the body and with a simple adjustment remove the meridian or neurological imbalance from the body.

TBM (Total Body Modification)

TBM is a technique to identify environmental allergens, specific organisms and biochemical factors that create imbalances in the body. Through chiropractic adjustment, proper diet, homeopathic preparations and other techniques these imbalances are restored and the patient’s health improved.

Gerson Therapy

In the early 20th century, Dr. Max Gerson found a cure for skin Tuberculosis and soon modified it to create a cure for Cancer. His resulting treatment was based on diet, detoxification and a few non-prescription supplements. The results were very good offering better prospect of recovery for most types of cancer than orthodox  treatments endorsed by the pharmaceutical medical boards He presented it to the Senate select committee on the eradication of Cancer in the 1930’s and promptly became a target and was ostracized by the medical community. This amazing approach is also very effective for most chronic illnesses affecting modern men and women. In most cases it provides significantly better recovery rates than orthodox medical procedures. Just recently the orthomolecular medicine community recognized Dr. Gerson’s contribution.
